  • "Scott ran several D&D nights for our 11 year old son and his friends over the summer. His games were wildly imaginative and fun - keeping the kids fully engaged and leaving them wanting more. We highly recommend him!"

    — Elise, Maplewood

  • "I’ve played both a D&D campaign and a one-shot with Scott and it has been some of the most fun I’ve ever had! Scott is extremely dedicated when it comes to creating vivid and original games for the players. He puts a great deal of effort and preparation into making each game the best experience it can be, and no two games are ever the same."

    — Elena, West Orange High junior

  • "The Dungeons and Dragons campaign my boys did this week at Rocket Improv was amazing. The dungeon master was wildly inventive, and they came home after each 2-hour session chattering excitedly about the fabulous adventures they had. Cannot recommend highly enough, truly a great experience."

    — Jeffrey

  • My 14 year old son had the best experience at Dungeon and Dragon camp. He felt comfortable and welcomed and couldn’t wait to go each day. It was the best decision we made for him all summer. Thank you Rocket Improv!

  • Scott Barton

    Scott Barton

D&D GAME MASTER FOR 7 YEARS

He first got into the game at the age of 12 when he was invited by a friend to play D&D. Inspired by the show Stranger Things, Scott said yes and upon giving the game a try he fell in love immediately! Scott began organizing campaigns for his friends when he was in the sixth grade and played regularly with an established adult group of players.

During the height of the pandemic, Scott founded the D&D Club at Columbia High School, ran campaigns online and in-person outdoors, and taught others how to run campaigns as game masters themselves. Over the past seven years he has run D&D games for kids ranging from ages 10 to 17 and has pitted his players against dragons, werewolves, train-robbing bandits, megalomaniacal wizards, and the worst enemy of all, bad luck with the dice. When he’s not worldbuilding vast fantasy civilizations, Scott is studying for his upcoming driver’s test. (Gulp!)

Scott lives in Maplewood with his little brother and the owners of Rocket Improv.

  • Sam Daley

    Sam Daley

D&D GAME MASTER FOR 3 YEARS

His first game was at age 11 with a friend and his older brother as the DM. Even though Sam spent most of the game getting tossed into the ocean over and over and over by a mystic force, he couldn’t wait be a trickery cleric again!

When the pandemic hit, he started a remote game with friends from his old neighborhood and they searched through the decrepit city of Waterdeep to find a kidnapped noble. Most recently, he has served as Dungeon Master for a few groups leading one through Andasia as they search for a wizard’s artifacts, and the other through the world of Talamir defending caravans from wandering groups of goblins. Sam plays Ultimate, runs track and likes being in the outdoors… as long as he doesn’t encounter the Tarrasque!

  • Andy Schneeflock

D&D Game Master for 3 Years

He was asked to play for several years by a dear friend, but they never made it work. When the pandemic was in full swing, that same friend said, “What else are you doing right now?” So, over Zoom, Andy began to play (original AD&D rules), and it wasn’t long before he was committed for the long haul. While still playing the character he started with, he’s since expanded to DMing his own games, primarily in a Spelljammer-type setting.

Andy’s been performing for many more years, and when he’s not rolling dice, you may have seen him grace your screen in shows such as “The Equalizer,” “Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens,” "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” "Orange Is the New Black,” “Luke Cage,” “Tales of the City," and “Tommy.” Film: Worth, Bridge of Spies & Interview Requested. Theater: The Hungry Hungry Games (National Tour), The Puppet Dead & The Story Pirates. He frequently performs in sold-out Entirely From Memory shows at Littlefield. He is also a teacher for the Stella Adler Studio, the Atlantic Theater Company, and New York University. www.andyschneeflock.com.
