SEEKING A DUNGEON MASTER FOR ROCKET IMPROV D&D

If you have a knack for storytelling, a love of Dungeons & Dragons, and enjoy working with kids, then we want you to join our team as a Dungeon Master! 

We are seeking an enthusiastic, flexible, and imaginative Dungeon Master to lead adventures for kids ages 10-16. As part of our team, you'll get to design original one-shots, act out memorable NPCs, and facilitate storytelling in a way that keeps the game fresh, engaging, and full of surprises.

What you’ll do:

• Run a session or two on some Saturdays 1:30-3:00 (ages 10-12) and/or 3:30-5:30 (ages 13-16). Sessions are divided up according to our DMs’ availability. We currently have two DM’s and are seeking a third.

• Create engaging storylines and character sheets that incorporate player backstories, preferences, and improvisational moments.

• Be flexible and ready to adapt the narrative based on the players’ choices and actions.

• Facilitate a fun, positive, and inclusive environment where everyone’s creativity is encouraged.

Ideal candidate:

• Someone who’s excited about the unique experience each D&D session holds.

• A flexible storyteller who enjoys adapting to the unexpected.

• Engaging and charismatic, with the ability to manage a group of kids and keep everyone involved.

• Need to have at least two years of experience DM’ing.

• Experience working with children with special needs is a plus.

The pay is determined by how many players you have in a session. A session can have anywhere from 2 to 6 players per session. The starting rate for new Rocket Improv DM’s is $15 per player. Our average is 3 to 5 players per session.
